Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust
Our Vaccination Nurse will work as part of a dynamic team delivering a flexible, safe and effective vaccination service for pregnant women and babies across the remit of Torbay and South Devon Foundation Trust.
You will deliver the vaccination in pregnancy service, providing pertussis, Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) and seasonal Covid and influenza vaccines to all pregnant women and the neonatal BCG vaccine up to the age of 1 year with follow up Heaf test if appropriate. All appropriate paperwork must be completed.
The service will run through an appointment service so the need to make appointments will be necessary. We are looking to run regular clinics away from the general hospital to ensure a service that is more accessible to all. You will also be involved in the promotion of vaccinations and screening in pregnancy and support staff to increase awareness of healthy pregnancy choices to our maternity service users.
