Exciting Opportunity: General Ledger Accountant (Permanent & 12-Month FTC) We are delighted to be partnering with a global energy company to recruit two General Ledger Accountants—one on a permanent basis and one for a 12-month fixed-term contract. These roles are based within a dynamic finance team that operates as a global finance shared service centre. Hybrid working is available, 3 days based within the office whilst offering 2 days remote. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will take ownership of accounting and reporting activities for one or more entities. Your main duties will include: Ensuring all transactions are accurately and promptly posted to the ledger. Managing the general ledger and preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned entities. Leading and executing the month-end close process. Assisting with the preparation of financial reports for the Group. Overseeing and maintaining the fixed assets register. Reconciling intercompany balances to ensure accuracy. What We’re Looking For: We are seeking candidates with experience in similar roles who are confident using office applications, particularly Excel. Familiarity with IFRS and GAAP is highly valued, and we encourage candidates with this expertise to apply.
