Hours: Mon-Thu 8:15am-5:00pm, Fri 8:30am-4:00pm
About the role
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll play a key role in improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing product quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure high standards of health, safety, environment, and product compliance.
* Manage customer design changes through Kingspan’s ECN process.
* Design and implement new systems, equipment, and processes.
* Support continuous improvement (CI) projects across departments.
* Analyse production data, including downtime, cycle times, and waste management.
* Oversee new tool transitions, including designing jigs, tooling, and liaising with toolmakers.
* Review and optimise manufacturing costs and production efficiency.
* Improve quality control processes and ensure regulatory compliance.
* Supervise technicians and shop-floor personnel.
Experience & Skills
* Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
* 5+ years in a rotational moulding/automation environment.
* Proficiency in SolidWorks/DraftSight or AutoCAD; ability to read technical drawings.
* Experience with NPI and customer specification interpretation.
* Strong project management and communication skills.
Desirable:
* Project Management qualifications.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and tool design.
