About The Role
This is a rare opportunity for the right individual to join the central office team in a highly visible role. Reporting to the Group Sustainability Manager, they will lead the development and implementation of HellermannTyton's global Supply Chain Due Diligence strategy. This role is pivotal in minimizing our environmental impact, upholding human rights, and promoting fair labour practices throughout our supply chain. You will be a champion for responsible sourcing, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements (e.g., EU CSDDD), and driving continuous improvement in our supplier network's sustainability performance.
This unique and challenging role will interact with senior leaders at Director level and provide a wide range of opportunities for the right individual to develop and grow within a successful global organisation and support the success of our Group Sustainability Strategy. The role is based in HellermannTyton's central office in Crawley, West Sussex (United Kingdom).
Description Of Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain due diligence strategy aligned with industry best practices and international standards.
* Define and maintain clear due diligence policies and procedures for supplier selection, onboarding, risk assessment, and ongoing monitoring.
* Coordinate HellermannTyton's Conflict Minerals reporting, collaborating with corporate to ensure relevant supplier data is collected and due diligence is completed.
* Develop and maintain a robust reporting system to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain due diligence (e.g., ESG risk assessments & signing of Supplier Code of Conduct).
* Prepare regular reports for senior management and other stakeholders (Corporate, Group Sustainability manager) on the status of our due diligence program.
* Utilize the EcoVadis platform to gather and analyse ESG risk assessment data, identify high-risk suppliers, and track performance improvement.
* Develop and implement global policy for mitigation plans to address identified risks, including corrective action plans and capacity-building initiatives for suppliers.
* Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders (Parent company, procurement, legal and sustainability) to ensure alignment of the due diligence strategy and applicable laws.
* Develop and implement a global supplier engagement program that drives continuous improvement in ESG performance across our supply chain.
* Support HellermannTyton's EcoVadis self-assessment, with a focus on improving our Sustainable procurement practices.
Experience & Background
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role, with a focus on sustainable procurement and ethical sourcing.
* Strong understanding of international human rights, labour standards, and environmental regulations relevant to supply chains (e.g., UN Guiding Principles, OECD Guidelines, EU CSDDD, UK Modern Slavery Act).
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a global network.
DESIRABLE
* Experience in the development and implementation of SCDD strategies.
* Experience with supply chain risk assessment methodologies and tools, including familiarity with the EcoVadis platform.
* Experience working with global supply chains.

* Professional experience with large scale change management projects across multiple stakeholders.
* Strong communicator and proven project management skills (strong planning and follow through).
