About the job
The Project Development Manager in the Private Networks Profit Centre will be responsible for developing new clients and workstreams within the sector, with a strong focus on bringing in new works and increasing the turnover of the profit centre. This role will oversee the delivery of projects and act as the key point of contact with clients prior to and during works, ensuring successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
What does the role entail?
1. Work Winning: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the private networks sector, expanding the company's portfolio and attracting new clients.
2. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as the key point of contact prior to and during works to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
3. Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of private networks projects, ensuring they meet scope, time, and quality standards.
4. Turnover Growth: Develop strategies to increase the turnover of the profit centre through new client acquisition and workstream development.
5. Team Coordination: Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
6. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality throughout the project delivery process.
7. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
8. Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to the Head of Private Networks and other stakeholders.
9. Process Improvement: Continuously improve project delivery processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
What do you need to be considered?
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in project delivery and business development within the private networks sector.
* Proven track record of successful client acquisition and project delivery.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools.
* Knowledge of HV Infrastructure, Small Works, and Operations and Maintenance projects.
* PMP or similar certification preferred.
