An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and forward-thinking flexible individual who is keen to be part of our 7 bedded paediatric surgical unit and embed new ways of working for Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Are you a dedicated children's nurse? Are you looking for a challenging role where you can make a difference? This is a Permanent post that requires a flexible, passionate, highly motivated and experienced band 5 nurse with excellent communication skills who considers themselves first and always the child and families advocate.
Main duties of the job
You must be dynamic, enthusiastic, well organised and blend well with an excellent team of nursing, medical and theatre colleagues. This role is fundamental to ensure we maintain the highest standards of care to all our patients and families and provide clinical skills and to lease with waiting list team, theatre staff and a named group of staff within our unit.
With this role comes the opportunity to bring your skills and experience to a well-established unit. This post requires a positive approach towards change and the ability to engage, support and motivate the team. Opportunity to attend Getting it Right First Time and North West Surgery in Children meetings and apply for Paediatric Pre-operative course.
