Job summary We are currently looking to recruit two Fire Safety Advisors on a permanent basis. Ability to meet the requirements to perform the duties listed under the 'Physical Skills' clause within the JDPS. The post holders will be responsible for ensuring that the Trust meets all statutory fire requirements. The estates maintenance provider will provide the day to day fire safety maintenance role and a key feature of this role will be to ensure that fire safety systems are in place to meet requirements of legislation and that these are supported by suitable policies and procedures linking into both Trust Management and new client arrangements. The Fire Safety Advisors will provide an oversight of the service providers fire safety responsibilities to the Chief Fire Officer and ensure all their services comply with legislation and good industry practice, deputising for the Chief Fire Officer in their absence.
