We’re looking for a People Systems Lead to join our People team. You’ll be supporting the People Process & Change Manager in the ongoing improvement, administration, maintenance, and day-to-day running of the core Workday applications and will lead other change management initiatives across People, including project management and business analysis support.
Working flexibly, you'll spend most of your time working from home, with a couple of days a week spent in the office (so living close to Haywards Heath, West Sussex would be perfect). But of course, it’s your choice - if you prefer to be in the office more - that's good with us too.

Job Responsibilities:
* Together with the People Process & Change Manager responsible for the execution of People systems changes ensuring it continually adapts to complement the current processes by:
* Pre-release – ensure clear understanding of the business case of what is proposed and assure that the requirements and solution deliver the same.
* Release – agree scope and deliverables. Assure the quality of development and testing, sign off live testing requirements and confirm deploy into Production.
* Post release – ensure any defects are resolved, and ongoing production monitoring are in place.
* Lead, design, test and implement technical system changes to deliver ongoing continuous improvements to the People pillar and business.
* Lead the gathering of information of change requests, and requirements from the wider People function liaising with the SMEs to gather the design of configuration changes.
* Support the People Process & Change Manager with the delivery of People projects with the help of 3rd party support and key stakeholders.
* Responsible for key administration changes within Workday, ensuring key system control and integrity is maintained and protected.
* Assist in the design and production of Workday reports, Business Processes, and Integrations.
* Build effective working relationships and influence across all levels, fostering an open and collaborative culture.
* Challenging current practices, actively seeking to improve processes, whilst managing risk.
* End user set-up and security maintenance, as required.
* Comply with the requirements, and act in accordance with, the Group Code of Conduct and Fitness and Propriety policies at all times.
* Ensure compliance with Company Policies, Values and guidelines and other relevant standards/ regulations at all times.
* Produce ad-hoc reports and analysis for the People leadership team as required.
* Conduct any colleague management duties if required including:
* Delivering coaching and feedback to direct report to achieve KPI’s and SLAs, and conducting regular performance reviews, including probationary reviews and annual appraisals as necessary.
* Deal with colleague issues including monitoring absence.
* Assist in the recruitment process where necessary.
* Any administrative duties required within the Workday team.
* Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably required.

Job Specific Competencies:
Qualifications:
* Degree in a business orientated field or equivalent or commensurate experience.
Experience:
* Experience as an HR system administrator and / or HR change role.
* Experience of HR systems (Workday core, Learn, Recruitment & Talent – desirable).
* Experience of system implementations.
* Understanding of Business Objects.
* Previous experience in a Financial Services environment is desirable.
Skills:
* Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel.
* Strong mathematical, analytical, and organization skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Good leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to drive process improvement, based up on analysis of data.
