ROLE SUMMARY
:
The dispensary pharmacist’s main roles are to verify mediation orders, consult patients on the use of medical marijuana as well as maintain accurate inventory. The pharmacist will work with the dispensary team to maintain a clean, customer-friendly work environment.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Consulting new and existing patients on the use of medical marijuana.
2. Continuing education on the use of medical marijuana.
3. Pulling/preparing products for patient orders.
4. Entering orders into the point-of-sale system, printing labels and labeling products.
5. Final verification of all medication orders.
6. Accepting in new product deliveries.
7. Maintaining accurate inventory on hand.
8. Answering phone calls.
9. Effective communication with team members.
10. Assisting patients in purchasing over the counter items.
11. Perform other duties as assigned.
12. Maintain an environment of "Patients First" with excellent customer service
13. Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSL
14. Must hold a current Connecticut pharmacist license with a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
15. Must be at least 21 years of age
16. Experience in retail and/or customer service
17. Observant, analytical, inquisitive and attentive
18. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels
19. Demonstrates a high level of oral and written communication skills.
20. Able to operate electronic equipment (computer, laptop), comprehend safety procedures, and utilize telecommunication devices
21. Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties
22. Must possess a valid driving license and a clear driving record
23. Must be able to pass a level 1 and level 2 background check
ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
24. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of this position can be fully met. Due to the nature of our business, it is advocated that when representing Trulieve that our professionalism meets the needs of the medical patient base that we respectively serve. To uniformly align with the organization, an individual must be able to provide a level of communication that aligns respectively with the diversification of our patients which may exhibit opportunities to assess the situation and apply meaningful service. In addition, must be able to quickly identify and insert additional support where needed to deescalate situations without compromising Trulieve’s objective in serving our patient base with excellent customer service.
25. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
WORK SCHEDULE:
26. Approximately 35+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on store needs. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
