The Governance Administrator is a key role in the management of Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) risks, complaints, and incidents. Please read all the information in this advert and the supporting information BEFORE submitting your application.
Main duties of the job
You must be able to work on your own as well as part of a team and be able to use your initiative. This is a busy role therefore you will need to demonstrate effective organisation, communication and written skills. You will have excellent customer service skills when liaising with patients, members of the public and staff at other NHS organisations; adapting these skills to manage sensitive and confidential information and issues.

Job responsibilities
You will assist with IUC Governance meetings, learning events and produce reports for the governance and senior management teams.
This is an office-based role.
Person Specification
Qualifications / Knowledge
* Educated to GCSE Standard at Grade C or above in Mathematics and English or equivalent
* OCR Level II Word processing or NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
Experience
* Significant experience of producing excellent letters, memos, agendas, reports and minutes
* Experience and knowledge of risk, complaints and incidents management
* Experience in use of databases, word processing packages, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and ability to extract information and analyse trends
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Demonstrates integrity, understanding and maintenance of confidentiality and handling sensitive issues
* Experience of dealing with people and difficult situations

* Accuracy, attention to detail, observant and discreet
* Excellent interpersonal skills, showing sensitivity and empathy
* Prioritising work and excellent organisational skills
