The successful applicant will manage a care hub team and coordinate a professional care & wellbeing service, including responsibilities for building management.
About the job
The successful applicant will manage an established team supporting adults living with dementia to access daytime opportunities. The role requires the post holder to coordinate services & manage the quality of care & support needs of users of the care hub, to ensure their physical and emotional well-being needs are met; along with delivering & supporting participation in social & recreational activities. Working closely with Cardiff & Vale UHB staff to deliver an integrated model of dementia care across the service.
What We Are Looking For From You
Ideally, you will have experience of working with older people living with dementia & experience of staff management/supervision. Have a willingness to deliver and develop new model ideas of older people's day services. You will need to be flexible, and have a positive & happy attitude, along with the ability to engage, encourage and support staff. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
