We now have a great opportunity for a Sign Fitter/Installer to join our installation crew where you will work in a high energy and supportive team. The Role involves: Ensuring that signs meet clients' specifications at the point of installation and in accordance with supplied job information. Checking all required signs, products, materials, tools, and equipment are available as relevant to complete installation works. Loading and transporting signs, products, tools, and materials to the location safely. Preparing the site for installation by removing old signage, preparing the surface or structure, and securing the electrical connections. Ensuring the effective measurement, placement, connection, and installation of the sign. Mounting and installing the signs in accordance with all safety protocols. Clearing debris and materials from the site after each installation. Performing maintenance and repairs to signs, as needed. Operating and maintaining the tools and equipment in accordance with safety procedures. What we ideally expect from you Good understanding of applicable installation methods, materials, and safety measures. Good knowledge of various types of internal and external wayfinding signage. Experience of working with saws, a variety of power and hand tools, abrasive-wheel types and industrial adhesives/bonding agents. Ability to interpret briefs accurately, problem solve and understand signage techniques. Ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights. Willingness to work evenings and on weekends, if required. Basic software skills; Emailing, WhatsApp, Site Audit Pro. Ability to adapt to new installation methods easily. Two years’ experience working as a sign installer or similar. Essential qualifications CSCS Card qualification Driving license Non-essential but advantageous requirements Manual handling and abrasive wheels training PASMA IPAF First Aid at work training What you can expect from us 8.5 hours daily, Monday to Friday.
