The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Planning Manager within our consulting division to manage the planning and monitoring of projects throughout all stages. You will work with the operations team to develop efficient project methodologies and ensure timely project delivery, identifying necessary rectification actions.
What Will You Do?
* Develop project plans, programmes, and reports in accordance with Lendlease planning procedures.
* Work with the project team to create preconstruction and construction methodologies for effective project delivery.
* Report project progress against contracts and delivery programmes at regular intervals.
* Support the project team in creating and updating medium and short-range programmes.
* Produce weekly project dashboards to update on progress and key issues.
* Advise project directors on critical issues and strategies.
* Chair weekly planning meetings to coordinate project programmes and updates.
* Review change proposals for time impact.
* Assess and record time impacts of delays.
* Record production rates and delays for future benchmarking.
* Facilitate team understanding and ownership of plans and programmes.
You Will Bring
Essential:
* Good understanding of pre-construction processes and procurement methods.
* Appreciation of primary construction contracts and key commercial terms.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and senior management.
* Ability to produce reports and diagrams to convey proposed sequences and methodologies.
* Working knowledge of P6.
* Knowledge of CPA planning techniques and project controls.
* NEC contract experience is essential.
Desirable:
* Experience in the relevant industry sector.
* Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
