Job Title: Teaching Assistant - Specialist SEN Provision in Mansfield
Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN)? Academics are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN provision in Mansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with teaching assistant experience or those from a care background who want to make a real difference in a child's education.
Role and Responsibilities:
1. Support children with a range of additional needs.
2. Assist the class teacher in delivering personalised learning.
3. Provide care and support to students to ensure they can access their lessons effectively.
4. This is a full-time, long-term role with hours from 8:15am - 3:15pm, Monday to Friday. Part-time opportunities may be available for the right candidate.
Key Requirements:
1. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
2. Experience as a Teaching Assistant is preferred, but candidates from a care background are welcome.
3. A passion for working with children with SEN and the ability to provide high-quality support in a nurturing environment.
