Bellrock Technologies is looking for a proactive and highly motivated Business Development Manager who thrives in a pure “hunter” role, focused exclusively on identifying, formulating, and qualifying new business opportunities. Unlike a traditional 360° sales position, your role is entirely dedicated to strategically generating and nurturing leads, which will then be transitioned to our specialist Solutions team to manage through to closure.
You will specifically target large, strategically important clients within sectors such as banking, professional services, legal firms, pension and investment funds, public sector, healthcare, and organisations with large or complex estates. Your role will leverage market intelligence, strong relationship-building skills, and strategic insight to generate opportunities clearly aligned to Bellrock Technologies' strengths, value proposition, and growth ambitions.
This is a critical and highly visible role, focused purely on driving new business opportunities and adding significant pipeline value.

And as a Business Development Manager with Bellrock, you’ll do it by…
* Proactively identifying, researching, and engaging new prospective clients, effectively positioning Bellrock Technologies' capabilities to formulate qualified, strategically aligned opportunities
* Qualifying and developing leads into meaningful, actionable opportunities, ensuring alignment with our ideal client profile and organisational objectives before clearly transitioning these opportunities to the Solutions team
* Leveraging a strategic, targeted, and insight-led approach to identify new clients, prioritising organisations within sectors such as banking, professional services, healthcare, higher education, transport, investment funds, and complex estates
* Acting as a visible representative ("face") of Bellrock Technologies, maintaining an active, credible, and influential presence on LinkedIn and other relevant social media channels to build your professional network, drive meaningful engagement, and positively enhance the company's market profile and reputation
* Regularly attending industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events, proactively representing Bellrock Technologies, establishing strong relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and increasing awareness of our products and services
* Consistently leveraging HubSpot CRM to accurately track, manage, and clearly report on all prospect interactions and pipeline progress, ensuring transparency and accuracy
* Acting as a market intelligence expert, regularly gathering and sharing insights into market trends, competitor positioning, and client needs to refine targeting strategies and maximise the effectiveness of business development efforts
* Collaborating closely with the Solutions and Marketing teams to clearly articulate our value proposition, create impactful prospecting campaigns, and effectively nurture new business opportunities
* Qualifying leads thoroughly, ensuring opportunities handed over to the Solutions team are well-defined, clearly scoped, and strategically aligned to Bellrock Technologies' strengths and strategic objectives
* Regularly communicating pipeline status, trends, and opportunities clearly and effectively to the Senior Management Team (SMT), providing proactive recommendations based on market insight and pipeline analysis.
What does it take?
If you’re ready to be the energy that helps us build our business, share our success, and really own it as a Business Development Manager, you’ll need…
* At least 5 years’ experience in a proactive, business development-focused ("hunter") role, specifically within the software/SaaS or technology solutions sector
* Demonstrable track record of consistently identifying, nurturing, and qualifying new business opportunities, generating significant pipeline value, and successfully engaging senior decision-makers
* Strong capability in strategic prospecting and outreach, confidently positioning complex technology products or solutions to senior-level stakeholders, clearly articulating value propositions tailored to client needs
* Sector experience and insight, with proven success prospecting into key sectors such as banking, professional services, healthcare, higher education, transport, investment funds, or organisations with large and complex property estates
* Technologically proficient, with direct experience of effectively using CRM systems—ideally HubSpot—to accurately manage and report pipeline activity, interactions, and opportunity progression
* Strong analytical skills, capable of using market intelligence to identify strategic business opportunities, including competitor analysis and market trend insights
* Outstanding communication skills, clearly able to articulate Bellrock Technologies' value proposition, understanding and translating technical product features into compelling client-centric messaging
* Ability to qualify opportunities effectively, clearly defining and transitioning qualified leads to Solutions teams, who manage the opportunity through to closure
* A clear understanding of commercial drivers, enabling you to align prospects’ business needs with Bellrock Technologies' capabilities
* Degree educated or equivalent professional experience, demonstrating excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
* Any experience within the built environment, Facilities Management (FM), Property, Asset Management, or PropTech sectors will be considered a significant advantage.
