The Company: We are working with a well-established regional contractor who specialise in Education, Health & Commercial projects. They work primarily for public sector bodies undertaking a diverse range of refurbishment projects to circa £2m in value. The Role: Due to growth and an impressive pipeline of work already secured for 2025, they are in the middle of a recruitment drive that we are helping them with and they would like to recruit a Quantity Surveying Graduate to their small but growing Commercial Team. The role involves working closely with the Quantity Surveyors working on new build and refurbishment projects for blue chip clients. Typical duties can include: 1. Subcontract management 2. Internal and external valuations 3. Subcontract final accounts 4. Document management and control 5. Completing take offs 6. Issuing payment notices 7. Placement and tracking of subcontract orders You: They would like to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join their small, friendly Commercial team based in Greater Manchester. You will be IT literate and have an understanding of construction contracts. They have a really good training and development programme that has seen a number of their junior QSs progress into QS and Snr QS roles.
