AS A REVENUE MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL YOU WILL · Drive the hotel market share, revenue and profit performance across all revenue streams including bedrooms, meeting and events space, food and drink, leisure and SPA and other applicable business sectors. · Be a champion, accountable for total revenue management. · Set and manage sales and pricing strategies that are based on sound commercial judgement through effective analysis, reporting and use of business intelligence tools. · Build effective working relationships with RBH Management central departments and all other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of effective revenue management strategies. · Produce the annual rooms budget at market segmentation level; and participate in setting the complete annual budget and targets for the hotel. · Determine the market segment and distribution strategies required to achieve the budget targets, with a particular focus on driving direct bookings. · Produce and review the daily Demand Calendar to maximise RevPar, RGI and profit through the effective manipulation of pricing, inventory and sales restrictions. · Produce and review the weekly revenue report ( WRR) with detailed commentary for the all segments / movements for submission to the owner. · Complete the weekly rooms revenue forecast by market segment with accompanying performance commentary. · Chair the weekly revenue meeting and take a lead role for the monthly commercial review meeting. · Highlight opportunities and threats to revenue performance in advance and take appropriate action to maximise opportunities and mitigate threats. · Oversee the hotel reservations team with particular focus on enquiry response time and conversion levels, for the delivery of the revenue and profit targets. · Support the hotel reservations team in quoting for Groups, Weddings and Conference events business in line with demand patterns. · Undertake displacement analysis for Groups business, Weddings and Conference, and Corporate accounts to determine impact of business decisions on RevPAR and TrevPAR. · Review and challenge account production with sales teams to identify production patterns and new target accounts; utilising Agency360, Hotstats, and other analytical tools. · Oversee price negotiations for new RFPs, existing corporate business and for the targeting of new accounts. · Manage local relationships with OTAs and other distribution partners for optimum performance. · Monitor and analyse competitor activity, along with local and international market trends impacting the wider market. · Undertake relevant daily, weekly, monthly checklist tasks for the maintenance of hotel distribution systems and property management system. · Produce the month-end reports including commentary on revenue performance, booking pace, competitive share analysis and market segmentation across Rooms and Meetings & Events.
