Business Development Manager: Midlands and the South-East

CES Security Solutions offer the commercial market an extensive range of locking systems, including high security patented and specialist cylinders. Our experience, our knowledge and our precision engineered products exceed standards. The CES brand is synonymous with quality and premium product and are globally established as such. In the UK specifically, we are working to grow our position as a product manufacturer since we are predominantly known here for our ability to deliver complex master key systems.
As experts in building security, we work in collaboration with architects, architectural ironmongers and the end-user to design systems to their bespoke requirements, not around our products.

The Role & Its Requirements
We are looking for a Business Development Manager whose values match ours. One who has a good understanding of the architectural ironmongery industry and is able to face the challenges of a changing marketplace, identifying and developing business streams for future growth.
Your role will be regional, working across contacts based in the Midlands and across the South-East. You will support the National Sales Manager in all aspects of business development and have an expansive knowledge and understanding of the product range and its uses to be able to guide and support distributors in product selection.
* Promote and sell our core product ranges through existing partners
* Actively seek new partners
* Ensure the achievements of budgeted and targeted sales are met and achieved fully in business development including through existing distributors
* Identify and develop awareness of our offering to end user targets
* Uphold quality standards – putting customers first in liaising with partners to ensure correct specification is met
* Provide technical advice on complete range of products
* Provide detailed quotations based on customer requirements
* Take responsibility for developing ‘new product’ sales, working closely with Operations to manage peak demands
* Work closely with the specification team to deliver sales through existing/new partner networks
* Add real value to customer base
Let’s Talk About You!
With a demonstrable track record in technical product sales and business growth, it goes without saying that you will be commercially minded. You should be a highly experienced Business Development or Sales Manager who has regularly achieved sales targets in medium sized companies, and be passionate about high-end, quality specification products.
You will have an intimate knowledge of the AI sector, understanding the specification and tender processes. A people focused individual, you will be able to quickly establish relationships and provide guidance both within the business and with our customers/end-user targets. You will hold the GAI Diploma, have excellent IT skills using MS Office packages effectively, and have the aptitude to use our ERP system.
With excellent communication skills, strong influencing skills, and as a clear decision maker you will need to demonstrate your;
