This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Control Systems Integration Engineer. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of projects, ensuring technical compliance and quality. Your role includes attending client meetings to discuss design, surveys, software programming, configuration, testing, and commissioning for projects.
As a Control Systems Integration Engineer, you should bring an innovative approach to problem solving and work with highly skilled engineers to develop your career.
The ideal candidate will have previous knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, HMI, variable speed drives, and instrumentation products, with experience in a maintenance or electrical background or similar.
Full-time position: (08:30-17:15 Monday to Thursday and 08:30-16:00 on Fridays)
What we are looking for:
* Experience in designing control system PLC and HMI/SCADA software, and making amendments or upgrades to existing systems.
* Experience in producing project documentation.
* Competence in programming PLCs such as Siemens, Rockwell, or Mitsubishi, and/or programming SCADA systems like Siemens, Rockwell, or Wonderware.
* UK site commissioning experience, which may involve short periods away from home.
What we require from you:
* At least 2 years of control system experience.
* Software Engineering Degree and/or Electrical qualifications.
* Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi PLCs, or SCADA platforms like Wonderware, Iconics, Schneider, or others.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Clean UK Driving License.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
* For Lead positions, the ability to motivate and manage a team of engineers to improve performance, with over 5 years of experience.
