We're recruiting for a LeadQuality Engineer to work closely with the Engineering Lead withinthe Embedded FinanceTeam.

The EmbeddedFinance team is a fast-paced start-up group within Consumer Lendingand is tasked with building out propositions that solve customers'financial needs, when and where they are. We have just launched ourfirst product, Black Horse Flex Pay, and we're developinginnovative products aiming to offer customers and merchants modernways for online purchasing, with the ethos of Lloyds Banking Groupresponsible lending.
As theLead Quality Engineer, you'll be in charge of leading all aspectsof the quality roadmap, including creating testing strategies andcoordinating the automation process using standard software testingpractices.
Plus, you’ll workclosely with developers, business partners and product managers tobuild the testing framework and test suites to support ourcontinuous deployment pipeline ensuring robust and efficientreleases.
Aside of hands-oncontribution, you’ll hire and grow a team of Quality Engineers,developing people by coaching and technicalleadership.
You’ll provideQuality Engineering oversight and technical expertise throughoutthe entire software lifecycle, in a complex scenario integratedwith third-partysystems.

What you’llneed:
* StrongQuality Engineering background, including automated testingframeworks and testing bestpractices
* Automation-firstapproach, with a passion for driving productivity and a focus onreducing risk
* Experiencewith cloud environment (e.g. GCP) and testinginfrastructure
* Provenleadership skills in guiding Quality Engineering teams or complexprogrammes using Agilemethodologies
* Proficiency incoding languages such as Java, Python, orsimilar
* Solid knowledge ofCI/CDpipelines
Andany experience of these would be reallyuseful:
* Familiaritywith Embedded Finance or financial servicesapplications
* Experience withJira Align andConfluence
* Familiarity withSQL and Snowflake
* Experienceon non-functional testing on live systems atscale
