Marketing Assistant Location: Telford Job Type: Permanent Salary: £27,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established manufacturer in Telford on a permanent basis. As a Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Product Development, assisting in the execution of marketing plans that align with business objectives. Your work will contribute to key company targets, including increasing market share and brand visibility. A major focus will be on enhancing digital communication channels, including email marketing, social media, and the company website. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to: Assist in developing brand and marketing strategies aligned with company goals. Support the creation and execution of short, medium, and long-term marketing plans for the Foodservice division. Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce marketing assets across various channels. Coordinate the launch and promotion of new products, ensuring effective communication to stakeholders. Manage relationships with external agencies (Advertising, PR, Social, Digital) to ensure marketing activities align with company objectives. Provide digital marketing support to UK and International Sales teams, including event and exhibition coordination. Expand and maintain the customer database while developing email communication strategies and automated workflows. Develop and implement digital content strategies in partnership with external agencies. Monitor and report on key performance metrics to evaluate marketing effectiveness. Assist with general marketing tasks as required by the Head of Marketing and Product Development. Skills and Experience Degree in marketing or equivalent experience. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a B2B or B2C marketing role. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple marketing tasks simultaneously. Hands-on experience in digital marketing. Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, Mailchimp, HubSpot, or Zoho. Excellent communication, planning, and presentation skills. Commercial awareness with an understanding of market trends. Knowledge of GDPR compliance and best practices.
