You will be an ambitious and client-facing ACA or ACCA Qualified who wishes to continue a successful career as an Audit & Accounts Supervisor in an independent and highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants. You will be based in Surrey in the Cobham area. Hybrid working is available.
The firm has an impressive client base, which includes clients with international interests, property, retail, brands, sports businesses, financial services and the 'not for profit' sector, so this Audit and Accounts Supervisor work will be challenging and interesting. They are looking to recruit an experienced Audit Senior or Audit & Accounts Supervisor who can work within the department, running and providing full management to a portfolio of clients ranging from SMEs to medium-sized complex groups.
Key responsibilities include:
1. You will have significant responsibility to liaise with clients throughout the audit process
2. Preparation of Statutory Accounts for their larger clients
3. Confident to deliver audit and accounts services to clients
4. Working knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS and Financial Reporting requirements
5. Extensive use of modern technology such as accounting software CaseWare, Xero
6. Working closely with Partners and the team to ensure Audit Risk Assessments are undertaken
7. Attend site visits
8. Motivate, develop and support more junior members of the team
In addition, there is great scope for capable individuals to broaden their business skills across the business from involvement in due diligence, accountancy support and other commercial advisory assignments.
Requirements
You will already have Audit experience gained within a Practice environment and will be ACA or ACCA Qualified. You will possess a combination of strong audit and statutory accounts preparation experience. Up-to-date and working knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS would also be preferred. As an experienced professional, you will be a self-motivated individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work and can thrive within a modern, flexible and fast-paced environment.
