Department: Front of House Location: Birmingham Compensation: £15,600 / year Description Receptionist Birmingham Part time - £15,600 We are seeking a professional and personable Corporate Receptionist to join our team in a vibrant area in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, representing our brand with professionalism and warmth. This role is essential in ensuring smooth administrative operations and providing excellent customer service. You should be creative, confident and approachable with proven experience in an environment where five-star customer service is always expected. Hours Wednesday 1pm – 6pm, Thursday and Friday 8am – 6pm Salary £15,600 pa Key Responsibilities Reception You will set up, manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects visitor and tenant expectations As the 'face and personality' of the building, you will meet and warmly greet all visitors to the building – a trait that comes naturally to you. Organised and efficient, you will manage the booking system for meeting rooms, zoom-rooms and podcast booths, ensuring the rooms are ready for every meeting With a forward-thinking mind set you will proactively review front of house processes and procedures to improve the tenants and visitors journey through reception Efficiently managing couriers, post and deliveries You will work collaboratively with the security team, providing handovers to ensure service levels never drop Building and Services You will develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and tenants Support asset managers and letting agents, preparing for viewings of vacant office space– you may be asked to help show potential occupiers around the space You will support the Building Management team, ensuring any building issues are reported, monitored and managed Assist with managing maintenance contractors, including key handling processes Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience of working in a premium front of house reception role with excellent customer- focused service delivery Immaculately presented Engaging and welcoming, with a warm personality Proactive Excellent communication skills – written and oral PC literate / ability to learn to relevant software packages Social media competent and experience of Word Press Flexible to assist colleagues and work collaboratively Can do attitude / team spirit Benefits Contributory Pension Scheme/Life assurance LAH Training Academy Company Events Wellness scheme, including a 24-hour confidential helpline, virtual / telephone GP
