Your New Role Maintenance operatives are responsible for carrying out repairs as required and assist in the maintenance of structures, equipment & fabrication. Lastly to up keep the preventative maintenance system in place, to update and control all service records, machine checks and proactive or reactive maintenance required throughout the site, including buildings and vehicles. Core duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Maintaining the PMS system checks and records on site • Service machines as per schedule in the production areas every 3, 6 and annual service as required • Detail the description of all machines serviced correctly • Complete pre-clearance / hygiene check sheets before a machine can be used in production after proactive or reactive PMS • Liaise with Production manager/ supervisors to document all repairs to damaged or faulty equipment, that may cause serious contamination to a product or a serious health & safety risk to the operator • Maintain the PMS system checks for road vehicles & vehicle records on site. What You'll Need To Succeed In order to be considered for this role you will need to come from a mechanical background. Previous experience of production maintenance would be highly advantageous. What You'll Get In Return This is a days-based role, working from Monday - Friday. The salary range on the role is £27000 - £30000 (DoE).
