Salary: Band D SCP 9 - 17 £21,145 - £24,169 per annum
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Term time + 2 weeks
Shireland CBSO Academy is an 11-18 Academy which opened in September 2023. It is the first state school in the country to have a partnership with a professional orchestra. Based in Providence Place, West Bromwich, the Academy will work in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and serve all of Sandwell and the wider West Midlands. The Academy is for all students who have a passion or talent for music – they do not necessarily need to already play an instrument.

Key Responsibilities:
1. To work with individual and small groups of students in order to promote their inclusion and to provide support for teaching and personalised learning.
2. Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people and follow school and Trust policies including the staff code of conduct.
3. Support students’ learning across the curriculum, tailoring support to match the students’ needs.
