Video Editor (Formats) Location: Metro Headquarters – London Position: Permanent Metro is seeking a Video Editor (Formats) to bring our original and branded content offering to life across web and social. Candidates will shoot and edit a range of content, from original weekly episodes to branded content on behalf of clients and brands, varying in lengths from short to long-form. Ability to film on phone and camera, edit with tight deadlines and your creative expertise to all content is essential. As part of our newly-formed Commercial Video team, your insights, creativity, and understanding of what people are talking about will shape our video output, ensuring Metro remains a leading name across social and online. Please submit a showreel as part of your application. Key Responsibilities Film and edit video content for web and social media platforms. Help conceptualise new ideas for content, whether that’s new formats or brief responses. Understand video performance to make data-driven decisions on edits. Collaborate with teams across the company and with external clients to create popular video content. Stay ahead of the curve with the latest trends on social media platforms. Required skills and qualities Expert video editor with proven editing skills and a passion for storytelling. Highly skilled using Adobe Premiere. After Effects is an advantage. Familiarity with Metro’s video content. Experience creating content for social media platforms. Branded content experience is a bonus.
