This role focuses on operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and team leadership to deliver business objectives in line with customer expectations, quality standards, and compliance requirements. The Site Lead will play a key role in driving performance improvements and optimising resources to achieve financial and operational targets.
As Site Lead, here’s an idea of what you will be doing:
1. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
2. Lead day-to-day operations across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution sites.
3. Develop and implement efficiency strategies to optimise production, warehousing, and logistics.
4. Drive continuous improvement.
5. Monitor and manage KPIs.
6. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
7. Optimise workforce planning and labour utilisation, ensuring flexibility to meet seasonal or demand fluctuations.
8. Develop and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance culture with clear goals and accountability.
9. Oversee budget management, ensuring operational cost-effectiveness without compromising service levels.
10. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute business growth strategies.
11. Champion change management initiatives to support business transformation and innovation.
12. Implement and drive HDMS (Hunter Douglas Management System), ensuring alignment with the company's supply chain playbook and operational best practices.
The successful and ideal candidate will:
1. Degree (or equivalent experience) in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
2. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing manufacturing, warehouse and distribution operations.
3. Experience with Continuous Improvement (CI), and cost reduction initiatives.
4. Strong knowledge of financial budgeting, forecasting, and cost control within an operations environment.
5. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
6. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
