Your new role:The role of children's support worker will consist of supporting with the delivery of care to children with a range of personalities and needs. You will be involved in supporting the everyday routines of the patients and ensuring the psychological needs of each individual are met. This will include taking the children out into themunity toplete activities such as bowling, cinema trips or eating out, allowing you to build strong relationships and self-esteem. Typical shifts will be long days, short days or wakeful nights. However, flexibility is essential to deliver services over the full range of days and hours. This could include sleep-ins.
What you will need to succeed:You will need to have previous experience supporting children. You must also bemitted to under-taking all pre-employment training and have a desire to further your career by gaining further qualifications. It is important that you work effectively within the team to provide the best service we can to the people we support. Driving is essential for this role.
