Reporting to the Financial Controller this candidate will be responsible for and assisting with completing the following duties Preparing month end journals including prepayments and accruals. Preparing payment runs and ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct. Managing petty cash transactions and daily bank balance reports. Maintaining control accounts and fixed asset register. Dealing with internal and external customer queries. Monitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clients via telephone/email. Assume responsibility for receipt of all supplier invoices. Query any dispute Purchase Invoices with those responsible. Distribute invoices to internal departments for sign off. Prepare invoices for payment. Identify invoices that need paid promptly and within credit terms. Assist the purchase ledger to ensure month end close off is completed. Sales Order Processing General office administration as required such as travel and accommodation bookings. Your skills & experience Experience of working in a busy finance department working across all areas of the accounts function. ATI or AAT Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant (Desirable) Have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Evidence of analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
