Hays Accountancy & Finance are working with a leading not-for-profit provider in Lincoln to recruit a Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Officer, you will be responsible for the raising and processing of sales invoices and credit notes, the maintenance of up-to-date customer data, dealing with internal and external stakeholder queries and ad hoc requests, statement of accounts, cash allocation and reconciliations, prepayments, accruals reporting as well as actively chasing overdue debits, maintaining customer credit limits, assessing customer creditworthiness as well as general administration in the team.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have recent and proven experience in a finance office where you will have specialised in invoicing and credit control. You may be studying for, or be a part/qualified AAT or be qualified by your experience. You will have good Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook skills, a high level of accuracy and record keeping, strong administration and reconciliation skills, as well as excellent interpersonal andmunication skills at all levels. You will be living within the distance of Lincoln as the role is hybrid working.
