Job Description Lead React Software Engineer Position: Lead React Software Engineer Type: Contract Rate: £550 per day - Inside Duration ; 4 months initial but should extend Location: Leeds/Hybrid As the Lead React Software Engineer, you will spearhead the development of sophisticated web applications and leverage AWS to enhance performance and scalability. Your expertise will guide the team in building scalable, high-performance solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal user experience. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of React applications with AWS services. Architect and implement robust, maintainable code following best practices. Mentor and guide a team of talented developers. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into interactive applications. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cloud efficiency. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and AWS services. Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Lead React Software Engineer or in a similar senior role. Extensive experience with React.js and its core principles. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. Experience with popular React workflows (such as Redux). Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript. Expertise in AWS services (such as S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway). Experience with modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. Familiarity with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with TypeScript. Any previous with .Net would be a bonus Familiarity with RESTful APIs. Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus. Experience with code versioning tools such as Git. Understanding of server-side rendering. AWS certification (Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.) is a plus.
