The Role We are seeking an experienced Mechanical QA/QC Inspector to join our team at the Shotton Paper Mill Project. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical installations, maintaining the highest standards across all phases of construction and commissioning. Responsibilities * Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical installations and machinery to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards * Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Monitor and document the installation process, ensuring adherence to quality plans and procedures * Identify and report non-conformities, recommending and following up on corrective actions * Collaborate with project engineers and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues * Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of all quality control activities * Assist in the development and implementation of QA/QC procedures and best practices Required Qualifications & Experience * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred) * Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Mechanical QA/QC Inspector, specifically in machinery installation * In-depth knowledge of QA/QC standards, codes, and regulations * Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills * Proficient with inspection tools and equipment * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Certification in QA/QC or related fields (advantageous) * Valid equivalent CSCS card * Availability to work Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:30 What’s on Offer * Competitive salary based on experience * Long-term opportunity to work on a high-profile industrial project * Professional development and growth opportunities within a leading international company * Supportive working environment with strong team culture Ready to play a key role in delivering excellence on a major industrial project?
