The CSU are pleased to be recruiting additional specialist midwives to provide joint collaborative leadership within a service, that already has an established programme for 'Saving babies lives', with a substantive ' Safer Maternity care midwife' already in post. Together you will co-ordinate the Saving babies lives programme, playing a pivotal role in delivering education and training to increase the knowledge of our staff on CTG interpretation and classification for our CSU. Main duties of the job The Specialist Midwife for Safer Maternity Care will jointly and collaboratively, co-ordinate the implementation of key domains within in the Saving Babies' Lives Care Bundle (SBLCBV3) and any subsequent National Maternity safety drivers which may supersede or compliment. The key objective of this post is to triangulate data and deliver a programme of improvement to support the key objective of fetal monitoring education and national guidance for BTHFT.
