This company is known for developing cutting-edge technologies, enabling manufacturers to optimise performance and efficiency across a variety of industries, including aerospace, automotive, and precision engineering.
The Role:
As a Technical Sales Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in managing and growing the company's existing customer base while identifying new opportunities across the South-East region. You will work closely with clients to understand their production challenges and deliver bespoke engineering solutions that offer tangible cost-saving benefits. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a technical engineering background or technical sales experience to step into a high-impact role within a respected global brand.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain relationships with key customers, focusing on solution-driven sales.
2. Provide technical expertise and demonstrations on a range of engineering solutions.
3. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and post-sales support.
4. Regularly visit customers, utilising your technical expertise.
5. Develop tailored proposals and presentations that demonstrate the value and cost-saving potential of the company's products.
Person Criteria:
We are looking for someone with:
1. A strong engineering background.
2. Experience in mechanical engineering, production management, or technical sales, particularly within the manufacturing or CNC machining sectors.
3. The ability to interpret engineering drawings and provide technical insight into cost-saving opportunities.
4. Dynamic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
5. A full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
