The Vacancy
Architect (Fixed-Term)
We are on the look out for an experienced Architect to join us in our Cardiff studio on a 12-month fixed term contract. We are seeking a highly skilled professional, where you will be responsible for the design and technical delivery of both concept and detailed work on projects across the UK and internationally.
In this role, you will be expected to manage your own time efficiently, delivering project work in an organised manner with meticulous attention to detail. We value teamwork and are looking for someone who can collaborate effectively, bringing a flexible and open approach to problem-solving.
Your skills
* Revit is Essential and a high level of CAD skill
* Excellent knowledge of NBS Chorus specification systems
* Highly computer literate
* Skilled presenter both verbally and visually using software and hand drawing skills
* Working knowledge of UK Building Systems, Regulations and construction types
* Working knowledge of town planning procedures
Your qualifications and experience
* RIBA, ARB or equivalent registered Architect with experience of working within the UK Building Regulations
* Experienced project runner
* Experience of working directly with the client, contractor and design team
* Experience working within a range of different sectors, in particular advanced technologies/data centres.
