QMT are Parts Quality Engineers responsible for managing the industrialisation of products with suppliers to meet our clients requirements. They ensure processes meet specifications and tolerances, and parts are available in the correct condition and time. They address quality issues during production.
What Awaits You?
* Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and external development partners to develop new components.
* Ensure quality requirements and manufacturing processes are defined to meet BMW/RR expectations.
* Apply APQP principles to ensure timely delivery of new products.
* Steer suppliers to deliver quality components for ULV vehicles.
* Define quality and performance requirements with suppliers.
* Represent the quality department in project meetings.
* Evaluate suppliers during the nomination phase of the ULV project.
* Support the development phase to ensure technical drawings and specifications are deliverable.
* Support supplier development activities to implement quality requirements.
* Address quality concerns in production.
* Close all supplier quality problems from development and production.
What Should You Bring Along?
* Experience in parts quality or supplier development roles.
* Knowledge of the automotive industry.
* Familiarity with quality systems QS9000, DIN/ISO 9001, ISO IATF 16949.
* Ability to audit manufacturing processes and assess supplier conformance.
* Capability to understand and review technical drawings/specifications.
* Good English and basic German language skills.
* Effective communication and presentation skills.
* Qualified to NVQ Level 5 or equivalent (Degree, HND, or equivalent).
