● Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract 42 hours per week
● Salary: Circa £35000
● Location: Roebuck Lane, Smethwick, B66 1BY
● Days of Work: 4 on 4 off
● Start Time: 18:00 - 06:00

As our CCTV Security Investigator, your role will cover four main areas of responsibility:
1. Investigation:
o Monitor CCTV to support the reduction in losses and enforce preventative measures.
o Review CCTV for high-value or notable items escalated as lost within the network.
o Report findings to the relevant Regional Security Manager in a structured manner.
o Provide evidential packs suitable for prosecution cases.
o Produce witness statements, exhibits, and CCTV downloads to support prosecutions.
o Attend court where necessary to provide witness testimony.
2. Compliance:
o Escalate poor processes identified during CCTV reviews.
o Monitor security searches conducted by depot staff.
o Support Quality Audit Managers and Regional Security Managers in compliance reviews.
o Provide footage to assist training in security, transport, and health and safety.
3. Risk and Alarm Monitoring:
o Report security incidents or suspicious behaviour.
o Monitor and respond to intruder alarms during depot lockdowns.
o Review depot lockdown processes on CCTV.
o Consolidate and monitor potential areas of risk.
4. Network Support:
o Assist with planning new depot CCTV installations.
o Identify trends and report findings to management.
About You
We expect you to have extensive knowledge and experience of operating CCTV systems, with the ability to conduct operations and investigations. You must also have experience in producing evidential reports and witness statements. We would also expect:
* Excellent time management skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
* Good interpersonal skills.
* Be a good team player with a flexible approach to work.
* Previous knowledge or experience of the logistics or parcel delivery industry (preferred).
* A good knowledge of Criminal Law and Employment Law, including evidential standards for prosecutions.
