Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their busy and successful branch as a Senior Administrative Assistant in Chandlers Ford.
40 hour week - Monday to Friday - 8am - 5pm
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join the South Support team based at our branch in Southampton - Chandlers Ford, to provide effective and efficient administrative support to the region focusing on credit control and other general administration duties, ensuring the highest standards of customer service and adherence to Company Policy are maintained.

Responsibilities:
1. Making contact with customers by the appropriate means to chase and recover outstanding monies or arranging for others to do so.
2. Managing the credit control process using local knowledge and reference to Company Systems.
3. Establishing and building good relationships with customers over all aspects of credit/cash/accounts payments.
4. Dealing effectively with customer queries and complaints relating to their accounts.
5. Efficient processing of new customer credit and cash card accounts.
6. Maintaining customer records and credit limits on credit accounts.
7. Reviewing credit limit reports.
8. Monitoring and communicating results to the Regional Management.
9. Providing confidential support for the Regional Administrator, Regional Operations Manager, Regional Manager and deputising in the absence of the Regional Administrator for specific duties and decisions.
10. Following all relevant procedures regarding manual dockets, cash refunds and returns notes to ensure completeness and accuracy of records.
11. Maintaining Regional Branches petty cash and associated documentation.
12. Ensuring till discrepancies are investigated and reported.
13. Supervision of the Admin Assistants/Accounts Administrator.
14. Dealing with absences/return to work meetings/holiday requests for Admin Assistants/Accounts Administrator and branches when required.
Who we are looking for:
Essential:
1. An experienced administrator with a proven track record in a customer service role.
2. Experience of daily cashing up procedures.
3. Experience of Accounts and Credit Control processes.
4. Strong organisational skills with the confidence to effectively plan and prioritise your workload.
5. Confidence in working on your own initiative.
6. Friendly and approachable manner with the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
7. Excellent telephone manners and communication skills.
8. An understanding of the importance of working well as part of a team and being able to positively contribute towards the team environment.
9. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel to an intermediate level.
Desirable:
1. Previous experience of leading/supervising staff.
2. Ability to use Excel to analyse data.
3. Knowledge of K8/or similar POS system.
4. Flexibility to cover additional hours/holidays would be advantageous.
