Our client, a regional firm of Chartered Accountants, is seeking an Accounts Assistant Manager to join their Chichester office.
As an Accounts Assistant Manager, you will manage a portfolio of diverse clients, ranging from sole traders to multi-million-pound businesses. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience with a solid background in Practice.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and prioritize client accounts work, establishing scope and budget for each project, and providing adequate briefing to team members.
2. Prepare and delegate key client accounts work.
3. Supervise work progress and maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders, providing updates on task advancement.
4. Develop client relationships and expand advisory services.
5. Ensure timely preparation and dispatch of bills for client accounts work.

The successful candidate will have strong accounts and tax experience gained within a firm of Accountants and will hold either the ACA or ACCA qualification or be QBE.
