Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Assistant to join our team as a front worker at The Moyola Fish and Chip shop on Limestone Road, Belfast.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, serving customers, using the till to take orders and collect payments, ensuring that our customers have a positive experience.
Responsibilities
1. Greet customers warmly, take food orders and payments using cash and card methods.
2. Ensure all orders are packed and wrapped correctly.
3. Handle customer complaints and queries with professionalism, ensuring timely resolutions.
4. Maintain an organised workspace and ensure that all customer areas and work areas are tidy and welcoming.
5. Process transactions accurately using basic maths skills for handling payments.
6. Manage time efficiently to ensure all customers receive prompt assistance.
7. Work as part of a team to ensure effective communication with both staff and customers during each shift.
Skills
1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
3. Proficient in phone etiquette, ensuring professional interactions over the phone.
4. Basic maths skills for accurate transaction processing.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.44-£11.45 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
