OPERATIONS MANAGER - OAK FACADES
LONDON
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to join the team at Galliford Try within our Oak Facades Business.
Ideally, you will be based in or around the London area for this role.
1. Provide weekly progress updates
2. Produce monthly progress reports for board papers
3. Produce monthly Team meeting reports
4. Produce client reports
5. Regularly review and sign-off of required HS&E documentation in line with the BMS
6. Produce monthly Client progress reports
7. Hold Bi-weekly presentations of SSER reports, quality management i.e. Fire Engineers and consultants, NHBC RI's, and programme implications for all sites
8. Convene and chair team meetings and ensure an appropriate record of action points are recorded, distributed and monitored to a conclusion
9. Work with the planner to design and develop working programmes that can be reported against to the senior team and clients
10. Manage teams of Project and Site Managers
11. Work with the commercial team and manage project budgets
12. Ensure compliance with the company BMS. Promote areas of improvement
13. Control information/drawing registers in conjunction with the Technical department ensuring site and all Subcontractors are issued with relevant information in a timely manner
14. Report any HS&E issues to the Health & Safety Director and Advisor
15. Implement the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and Targets
About You:
1. Managing several live construction sites and teams at any one time
2. Ability to report accurately and on time with key information on progress and deliverables
3. Proven ability of delivering construction projects safely, on time, to budget and quality standards with high customer satisfaction results
4. Experience of working closely with spec housing sales teams and delivering units to meet sales targets
5. Have good Commercial awareness
6. Excellent time management with ability to multitask
7. Professional aptitude and appearance always
8. Construction related further education
9. Construction related HNC/HND/Degree/Level 7 NVQ
10. Member of CIOB or working towards
11. Relevant CSCS card
12. Experience of NHBC procedures with proven results
13. High level of construction related health, safety & environmental knowledge
14. Experience in Fire remediation and façade works
15. Strives for continuous improvement for the benefit of the company
16. Driven to achieve customer satisfaction
17. Experienced in analysing problems and delivering solutions
18. Communicates clearly with confidence at all levels
19. Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures
20. Able to demonstrate alignment and work in line with the Galliford Try values - Excellence, Passion, Integrity and Collaboration
