What you will do:
1. Engage in quality assurance initiatives, tracking their effectiveness and implementing improvements to enhance outcomes for children and families.
2. Carry out audits and reviews to highlight development opportunities, implementing initiatives to drive social worker growth.
3. Keep abreast of evolving regulations and insights from local and national reviews, integrating them into practice.
4. Offer guidance to staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to new policies and processes, utilizing group supervision.
5. Work collaboratively with team managers to prepare for inspections and develop strategies based on inspection outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England, and ideally bring over five years of experience in child and family social work. Your leadership and management skills will enable you to effectively motivate and inspire your team. Experience with quality assurance and development of staff, specifically through Student/ASYE support or team leadership, is essential. You will support practitioners by achieving clarity in thresholds essential for decision-making, ensuring manageable caseloads and supporting a child-centred system.
