We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.
Our service user is an interactive 5-year-old girl who lives in her loving family home in Blackburn and requires support with her complex care needs throughout the day and night.
She is a happy and content little girl who thrives on interaction with her family and care team, particularly when engaging in playtime activities. She loves to play with musical toys, enjoys listening to music and watching cartoons on TV, especially Mr. Bean.
Main duties of the job
Throughout the day you will ensure all her care needs are met, providing support with her personal care, moving and handling, being vigilant to her care needs and attending to her clinical care needs when required. You will engage through play, promote her learning and development, and ensure she has the right tools to thrive and grow.

You will provide a peaceful environment, offering comfort and reassurance when needed to promote a restful nights sleep.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
We have the following shifts available;
1. Part Time Nights - 2 Shifts Per Week
2. 9:00pm - 7:00am
3. Alternate weekends are essential for this position
4. Part Time Days
5. 8:00am - 4:00pm Term Time
6. 9:00am - 4:00pm None-Term Time

Weeknights: £ per hour (Approx. £145 per 10-hour shift)
Saturdays: £ per hour (Approx. £ per 10-hour shift)
Sundays: £ per hour (Approx. £ per 10-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £ per hour (Approx. £ per 10-hour shift)

Job responsibilities
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
