New Haven consists of two wards woodland forfunctional mental health needs and meadow for dementia care.
The team at Newhaven are friendly, supportive,and exceptionally caring, putting patient care at the heart of the work we doto improve health care outcomes and service delivery.
We can offer up to hours a week. Ourworking patterns are 3-4 long days/ night (07:30-20:00/19:30-08:00) across afour week period including weekends and bank holidays.
Main duties of the job
Role Requirements
1. We welcome newly qualified nurses and experienced nurses
2. The ability to communicate effectively with others at all levels

4. The ability to workautonomously managing your own named patients, developing a plan of care.
5. The ability to problemsolves, delegate, lead, co-ordinate and manage time effectively
6. Excellent communicationand inter-personal skills along with a flexible, responsive approach.
Day to Day elements
7. Close working with all members of the Multi-disciplinary Team
8. Undertaking mental health needs assessments
9. Assessment and Management of risk
10. Liaising with other services such as, community mental health team,Hospital at Home Team, Mental Health Liaison Team, and the Acute Trust
11. Effective assessment through SBAR and care planning
12. Delegation and shift management
13. Supervising of junior staff, including students
