The Role We are looking to recruit a Practice Education Facilitator to join the Practice Education Team at Beckford Street. The Practice Education Facilitator roles are designed to influence the quality of the clinical learning environment, by providing support, educational input and development activities for mentors/preceptors/practice supervisors/practice assessors and students within HNC pre-registration and post-registration education programmes. The role aims to enhance the quality of the practice learning experience and positively contribute to the future nursing/midwifery workforce. By enhancing the quality of the learning environment, the education and training needs of health care assistants and of the full range of professional groups may be addressed. What we'll need you to bring Registered Nurse/Midwife with valid NMC registration Educated to/working towards/operating at degree level Post graduate expertise within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently. Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice. Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality/ area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within speciality/ area of practice. Leadership skills to enable the day to day management of service delivery. Further education/evidence of continuous professional development in area of speciality including study days/courses/post graduate qualification and be able to provide evidence of mentorship experience or evidence to demonstrate the post holder has contributed to enhancing the practice learning environment and student supervision and assessment. The post holder will possess excellent team working/leadership skills and have the ability to motivate others and work using own initiative. Effective listening communication and interpersonal skills.
