This role focuses on supporting individuals with complex needs to sustain tenancies within the Private Rented Sector, helping them build a stable foundation for independent living.

The Role
1. Manage a caseload of clients, providing tailored support to help them maintain their tenancies and develop independent living skills.
2. Design, implement, and manage Sustainable Housing Support Plans for clients, coordinating with various agencies and services to meet their unique needs.
3. Assist clients with debt reduction, securing paid work, and accessing benefit entitlements to improve financial stability.
4. Partner with internal and external organizations, including social services, healthcare, and housing benefit teams, to provide a holistic support network for each client.
5. Ensure client data is recorded accurately, and provide regular reports and insights to the team manager.
Ideal Candidate
1. A background in supporting individuals with complex needs in housing or homelessness settings, ideally within a council or social housing environment.
2. Ability to manage a caseload independently, ensuring all support work aligns with relevant legislation and safeguarding policies.
3. Ability to build positive relationships with clients, fostering trust and engagement, and to work collaboratively with external partners.
4. Familiarity with policies and regulations related to homelessness, health and safety, and benefits.
