Are you a passionate Science Teacher seeking a new challenge in the Castleford area?
We are actively recruiting for a full-time Teacher of Science to join the staff team at one of partnership Secondaries Academies based in the WF10 area from September 2025. You will be confident delivering outstanding lessons to pupils across the KS3/4 curriculum, setting clear expectations for learning and achievement. The mixed Secondary School caters for pupils aged 11-18 years within supportive surroundings, you will play a key role in promoting a safe, respectful and engaging learning environment where students feel supported to thrive. We welcome applications from ECT's and experienced Teachers, you can expect to earn up to £230 per day depending on experience.
The ideal applicant will be:
* Able to inspire pupils of all abilities to achieve their highest potential across Key Stage 3 and 4.
* Able to generate ideas and drive initiatives.
* Committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching and have the ability to share your practice with others in a constructive and collaborative manner.
* Able to have a positive impact on the progress of both the pupils that are directly taught by you and those taught by the department.
* Able to implement intervention strategies, so that no pupil is left behind.
We are seeking a Teacher with:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
* Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
* An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
* Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
