We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Caretaker to join our team in Leeds. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our school facilities. Key Responsibilities: Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the school premises are safe and well-maintained. Health and Safety: Monitor and manage health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations. Security: Oversee the security of the school buildings, including locking and unlocking premises, and responding to alarms. Cleaning: Supervise cleaning staff and ensure all areas of the school are clean and hygienic. Groundskeeping: Maintain outdoor areas, including gardens and playgrounds, ensuring they are safe and presentable. Support: Assist with setting up rooms for events and activities, and provide general support to staff and students. Requirements: Experience: Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within a school setting. DBS: Must have a DBS on the update system or be willing to obtain one.
