Are you an experienced and enthusiastic SEND Teacher looking for a new full-time role? Step Teachers are working with a Primary School in Enfield that was rated "Good" under Ofsted's previous grading system to find a SEND Teacher to join their team in February 2025, working with a group of 7 KS1 children with ASD. This SEND Teacher should be fun, confident and prepared to help build an engaging curriculum that will keep students motivated and interested in their work. This is a long-term supply role with the potential to transition into a permanent placement for the right candidate.
SEND Teacher - Role:• Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
• Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
• Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
• Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
• Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Early Years Teacher - Requirements:• Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum.
• Have recent experience as an SEND Teacher in a primary school.
• Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
