An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of the largest housing associations/new home builders in the UK. They are recruiting a Homeowner Coordinator for maternity cover. The team is responsible for dealing with general lease enquiries, approvals, and restrictions; assisting homeowners to sell their homes; providing information to solicitors for prospective purchasers; helping residents purchase further shares through the process called 'staircasing'; processing lease extensions, re-mortgages and subletting requests; administering the Right to Buy and Right to Acquire, and other purchase option schemes.
As a Homeowner Coordinator, you will deal with a varied workload, assisting the Officers in the team. The job is fun and fast-paced. To succeed, you must be customer-focused, have a positive attitude, be an excellent communicator, and be able to multitask. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail are also essential in this role. The coordinator offers support to the Homeownership team in providing excellent service to customers whilst ensuring all tasks are completed in line with policies and procedures. You will keep customers and third parties up-to-date on transaction progress and assist in the progression of cases by supporting fact-finding processes like sourcing and supplying information or documents.
The Candidate
As a Homeowner Coordinator, it is vital that you have previously worked in an administrative fast-paced environment. You will have strong customer service skills and will be able to demonstrate a high level of organisation and meet deadlines. You will also demonstrate stakeholder management skills. It is important you have good IT skills, use simple business systems, and are a quick learner.
